Project overview:
During Covid non-face-to-face care increased significantly and was often replaced by digital care (phone, email, video, apps). As we continue to move care elements to digital care it is important to understand the patient perspective of care delivery mechanisms. This Neuro Digital study has been established to determine the ‘value components’ of face-to face outpatient appointments for patients with long-term neurological conditions, their carers and treating HCPs. We are also seeking to understand what people value in remotely delivered care and determine the acceptability of moving ‘value components’ to remote/digital care and possible considerations in doing so. This study will help inform how to best combine face-to-face appointments with remote or digital technologies to offer flexibility of care delivery mechanism with no perceived loss of quality.
